In the efforts to further improve Malaysia's ranking in doing business under the World Bank Report, the Property Development Lab Initiatives led by PEMANDU has recognized 22 initiatives aimed to expedite approval time and further improve procedures related to the property development.
A Special Task Force set up by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government together with the Department of Town and Country Planning have recently completed the following 3 initiatives (out of 22 initiatives) which are ready for implementation:-
Initiative 7 Exemption from Planning APproval (ExPA)
Initiative 8 Development Proposal Report
Initiative 13 Common Utility Trench/ Service Provider
